Dr. Jacobs took these photographs between 1950 and 1983. During that time, observation was the general therapy for hemangiomas. Occasionally, hemangiomas were removed surgically. In these pictures, the rare instances of surgical removal are noted. This hemangioma pediátricacollection of photographs can be considered documentation of the natural course of hemangiomas in children.
